Helping our neighbors!

Do Good & Earn Funds

Youth Service Funds (YSF) help middle and high school students pay for RESET trips and event expenses. Some of the opportunities below are YSF eligible and students as well as their family members can participate to earn funds. The funds can be used up to four years after graduation. Once time has expired, funds are allocated to a student scholarship fund.

Costa Rica Mission Trip

The next trip to CRMP is for high school and college students, May 23-30, 2026. Registration is now open! The cost of the trip is $1,200 but you can pay for the trip by volunteering for one (or more) of the events listed below. More details about Costa Rica can be found in this info packet. Email Pastor Robert with questions!

Giggles & Grace Consignment Sale

Giggles and Grace* is a children’s consignment sale held every spring and fall. It’s a huge mission outreach for Asbury and the communities we serve. The next sale is February 27 and 28, 2026.

*A Youth Service Fund eligible event.

Security Aux Team

Asbury’s Security Aux* assists the security team, which handles medical, fire, and weather-related emergencies. You’ll learn CPR and medical training alongside our security team and serve your church family. For every Sunday you work, you’ll earn YSF money. Plus – talk about great material to list on that college essay!

*A Youth Service Fund eligible event.

Twice a year (each fall and spring) students can sell flowers to earn money for their Youth Service Fund. The fall sale has concluded; the spring sale will begin in March.

*A Youth Service Fund eligible event.

Earn Youth Service Funds by serving at Asbury's Dinner Theater each March

Asbury’s Dinner Theater* is a two-night event held each March. Students attending the Costa Rica Missions Trip in 2026 (May 23-30) can be servers and earn money for their Youth Service Fund. The 2026 Dinner Theater is March 13 & 14, 2026.

*A Youth Service Fund eligible event.

Sponsor Daudi Sozo Children

Daudi is three-years-old and full of energy. He is happy, caring, and funny. Thanks to Asbury RESET’s sponsorship, Daudi lives in a family-style home with a Ugandan mom and dad at Sozo Children Uganda. He is cared for, receives regular meals, goes to school and gets help with homework, and has plenty of children to play with on the playground.

Asbury RESET is joining a growing, global community dedicated to giving vulnerable children a thriving, Christ-centered future. You can help by supporting Daudi financially, by praying for him, and encouraging him through letters and correspondence. To make a donation, click the link below and select “Student Ministries.” Please indicate  “Sozo” in the “honor of” field. To correspond, just reach out to our Student Ministry Team for contact info.

Mission of the Month

Every month, Asbury offers family-focused initiatives designed to help families serve together. Visit the Serve-Others page to read about how you and your family can help with the current Mission of the Month.

Asbury Serves

We serve with several ministry partners around the Birmingham community! In addition, we will participate in a special Asbury Serves as a part of our Discovery Mission Time. This is a great intergenerational way to serve God and serve Birmingham.
