VBS & TRIBES LEADER TRAINING

Students planning to serve at VBS and TRIBES this summer: you’ve got a (fun!) but mandatory meeting this Sunday (June 21) from 4:30–5:30 p.m. We’ll tell you everything you need to be an awesome VBS volunteer in the Student Worship Space and then from 5:30-7:00 p.m. we’ll get ready for TRIBES! Come prepared for top tier stage and outdoor games to get everyone in the zone for this year’s student competition!

TRIBES

Summer means lots of things…but it most definitely means TRIBES! Our epic annual student showdown is back—every Sunday night in July from 5-7:30 p.m. Four teams. Endless games. Wild competitions. All scraping for glory, bragging rights, and a shot at getting their team color etched into legacy…the Tribes Trophy. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow—who will it be in 2026? SIGN UP HERE!!!!

Think you have what it takes to lead your tribe’s legacy to be forever plated in history? All 11th and 12th grade students and college freshmen (for the 2026-2027 school year) are eligible to become one of those leaders! They will lead each tribe in the ways of spirit, organization, and servant leadership. So, you standin’ on business this year or what? Leaders, sign up HERE!

Summer Trips

High schoolers: July 17–18, we’re heading to Atlanta for a night at Truist Park to watch the Braves take on the Texas Rangers, followed by a full day of thrills at Six Flags Over Georgia! The cost is $140 and includes transportation, lodging, your Braves game ticket, and Six Flags admission. Registration closes July 6.

Middle Schoolers: Join us on July 11 for an awesome day of water slides, wave pools, and summer fun at AL Splash Adventure! We’ll meet at Asbury at 9:00 a.m. and depart at 10:00 AM for a full day of fun. We’ll leave the park at 4:30 p.m. and return to Asbury for pick-up at 5:30 p.m. Registration closes July 9.

On Sunday mornings in 945, Rev. Austin Lerner Gay leads high schoolers in a two-year, group Bible study that journeys through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.
During RESET 945 on Sunday mornings, students explore the Bible creatively, ask questions, and grow closer to God together.

Sunday Mornings, 9:45AM

Middle School Students (Room 113): Join a fun, discussion-driven class that pairs meaningful conversations about faith with interactive, hands-on activities. This space is a great fit for students who want to:
• Learn about their faith through open and engaging dialogue 
• Explore biblical truths in creative, activity-based ways
• Connect with others while growing in their connection with God

High School Students (Room 102
): Join an immersive, two-year Bible study that takes us through the entire story of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. This space is a great fit for students who want to
• Read through the whole Bible as a group in a supportive, discussion-based setting
• Deepen their biblical literacy/understanding and learn how to interpret Scripture on their own
• Grow in confidence sharing their faith and talking about what they believe to others

Sunday Nights, 5-7:00PM

Get ready to get soaked, laugh a lot, and compete with friends, cause it’s time for Slip ‘N Slide kickball in the soccer fields this Sunday (June 7) from 5-7:00 p.m. Bring your A-game!

Wednesdays are for Life Groups. More than a weekly hangout, Life Groups provide space to grow in your faith, build real friendships, and walk through life with people who are in it with you. Get the details.
