Mike leads Traditional Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Sundays in the Sanctuary. He is a strong believer in collaborative leadership and the empowerment of each and every Christian to do the work of Jesus in and for the world. “Asbury United Methodist Church is such a caring church family that at the same time is remarkably outward-focused,” he says. “We have a rich legacy of being a big church with big hearts and we seek to make a big difference in our community and world.”

Maggie coordinates various teams that offer physical, emotional, and spiritual care to the Asbury community. She was drawn to the United Methodist Church because of its “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors” motto: “We rely on the holy spirit to move within our lives; we have permission to explore and question faith without judgment or boundaries; and we believe in warmth and inclusion for all,” she says.
