Associate Director, Anchor Community Respite
Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? Do you enjoy being organized, working with volunteers, and creating supportive environments for adults with dementia and those who care for them? Asbury United Methodist Church is looking for an Associate Director of Anchor Community Respite Ministry to help run our vital Respite Program.
📅 What You’ll Do:
– Assist in day-to-day program operations
– Keep records tidy and organize supplies
– Support special events and community education
– Handle inquiries and help with program enrollment
– Step in as the Director when needed!
💡 What We’re Looking For:
– A kind and positive team player
– Strong communication and organization skills
– Proficient with Word, Excel, and other handy tools
– Someone who has a passion for working with volunteers, caregivers, and the community
🕒 Hours:
– Part-time, 20-25 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends for special events.

Ministry Assistant, Discipleship Ministries
Are you a super-organized, ministry-minded individual with a knack for managing events and connecting with people? We’re on the hunt for a Ministry Assistant to join our Discipleship Ministries team!
📅 What You’ll Be Doing:
– Organizing fun and impactful events for all ages—kids, teens, and adults!
– Keeping our mission activities running smoothly and ensuring funds are managed with care.
– Managing our website and publishing a weekly newsletter that keeps everyone in the loop.
– Handling background checks, budgeting, and making sure our resources are top-notch.
– Coordinating room setups and making sure our outreach communications are on point.
💡 What We’re Looking For:
– A heart for ministry and a desire to support our church community.
– Admin skills that make you a pro at Outlook, Word, Excel, and other tech tools.
– A person with a strong sense of integrity, stellar communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
🕒 Hours:
– Full-time, Monday to Thursday (35 hours a week), with occasional evenings and weekends for special events.

Teacher/Substitute Teacher for Day School
Do you love children and snuggling babies? Asbury’s Day School, CASA is looking for a few teachers and substitute teachers who are loving and can show our kids the love of Christ. Nearly 250 children—each with individual personalities—are loved and cared for by an experienced staff.
We believe in love, laughter, and learning at C.A.S.A. by nurturing self-confidence through creative activities and exploration of the world around us. All children are special in God’s eyes and our goal is to help each child obtain his or her full potential.
In this role, you will work in a classroom setting with children ranging in age from 2 months – 6 years old. Teachers must be able to lift children, change diapers, and other general duties required to take care of children, ensuring their needs are met. Hours are 9am – 2pm with the opportunity to work additional hours. Teachers are needed for 5-day/week, 4-day/week, and 3-day/week. We are also looking for substitute teachers who work when they are available to support our staff. C.A.S.A. typically follows the Shelby County School System calendar. Experience is preferred but not required.
