Food Service Director

Asbury United Methodist Church is looking for its next Food Service Director to oversee the Food Service ministry of the church. This Food Service Director would be responsible for the coordination, ordering, preparation, financial administration, customer satisfaction, quality control, and execution for all food-related functions of Asbury United Methodist Church. The ideal candidate will ensure that the Food Service Ministry fulfills its purpose to support and enhance the various ministries of the church in the spirit of encouraging church fellowship, discipleship, and overall ministry participation, by providing quality meals and services performed with excellence and value.

Applicants must have experience in food service oversight and management, food preparation, and service. Event planning experience is preferred, but not required. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Creativity, exceptional at relational skills, and effective time management skills are required. 

We are looking for a part-time or full-time position. If hired full-time, the Food Service Director would be eligible for employer-paid health and dental insurance, employer contributions to a retirement account, and other benefits.

Nursery/Preschool Attendant

Do you love working with infant and preschool aged children? Asbury United Methodist Church is looking for dedicated and committed Nursery/Preschool attendants to work in our Nursery on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and during special events.

Often the child’s earliest contact with the church, the Nursery/Preschool Attendant will help plant the seeds of the Gospel through bible stories, songs, crafts, activities, and a safe environment to grow in their faith.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have experience in caring for children between the ages of 0 to 5 with the ability to adapt and interact with a variety of personalities and developmental stages, be willing to participate in mandatory training, and commit to a consistent schedule.
