Confirmation is for middle school students who are interested in affirming their faith in Jesus Christ and becoming full members of Asbury UMC (typically 6th graders, but also 7th and 8th graders).
The most important aspect of confirmation is making a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ. The second most important aspect of confirmation is taking a vow to be faithful to Christ and His Church and supporting it with our prayers, presence, gifts, services and witness.
CONFIRMATION 2022 - 2023
Parents: It’s time to enroll students in confirmation for the 2022-2023 school year. The new class will begin Sunday, August 21 at 9:45 a.m. with a covenant service and orientation in the Foust Family Life Center (Gym). This service, led by Pastor Robert, will be for both parents and students. The cost to join is $50, which covers the Confirm Pack (confirm study Bible, journal, T-shirt, and tote bag).
