No matter how you enter our building, a greeter will be nearby with a smile – just let them know it’s your first visit and they’ll help you get to the Children’s Ministry Desk (located on the second floor across from the gym). We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the service starts to complete our check-in form capturing critical parent/guardian info and any special needs your child may have.
To save time, you may fill out the Kids Registration Form before you arrive. When you check in on campus, your child will get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll receive a text or call from one of our team members. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service. Only registered adults can pick up your child(ren) after worship or a church event.
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights are the main program times. You can learn more about those events on our Weekly Page.
Our hope is to inspire and equip you as a faith leader for your kids. Through age-appropriate events like Baptism, Second Grade Bibles, and Confirmation, our Milestones Program helps create faith that lasts into adulthood. Plus, Asbury offers Faith Growth Plans for parents which are similar to the development growth plans you receive at the pediatrician’s office at yearly visits, but with faith development goals and age-appropriate ideas.
Our staff and volunteers are excited to welcome your child(ren)! We understand the need for kids to recognize faces when they walk into a room. For that reason, two paid staff persons (an adult who is 18 or older and a senior-high youth who attends worship and study on a regular basis) are assigned to the same nursery room each week. Kindergarten through fifth grade students will find the same volunteer teachers in their Sunday School class each week. All staff and volunteers are required to pass Safe Sanctuary and background checks and we urge them to put their Christian faith in action as they love and care for your child(ren).
