Where our youngest gather together to learn about God’s love.
Located across the hall from Williams Chapel, Asbury’s nursery is available to parents Sunday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to noon and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. (when our Adult, Students, Kids, and Music Ministries meet for Bible study, small groups, and rehearsals). The nursery is also available for many events and activities throughout the year.
Where do I go?
Asbury has two Welcome Desks and our volunteers are happy to escort you to the nursery.
If you’re attending Traditional Worship, exit right out of the sanctuary and walk to the end of the hall. If you’re attending Modern Worship in Williams Chapel, the nursery is located just outside the chapel entrance.
Children are welcomed into age-specific classrooms on Sunday mornings: Infants/Early Walkers: Room 203 Toddlers: Room 204 Two-year-olds: Room 206 Three-year-olds: Room 207 Four-year-olds: Room 208
Who is watching my child?
We understand the need for young children to recognize faces when they walk into a room. For that reason, we have two paid staff persons in each room: an adult who is 18 or older and a senior-high youth who attends worship and study on a regular basis.
It’s important to Asbury that all of our workers carry their Christian faith with them as they love and care for your child(ren). Safe Sanctuary and background checks have been done on all of our paid staff to ensure safety. We also schedule volunteer parents to offset any emergency needs.
A mandatory check-in process is required when you visit the nursery. For their safety, only registered adults can pick up your child(ren) after worship or a church event.
Wednesday Night Choir
Preschoolers ages 3-5 have a special music and movement time with Ms. Kristin on Wednesday nights from 6:00-6:30 pm in our preschool space (room 209). These Tiny Trebles have a chance to build confidence using their voices as they sing about God’s love. Join us for nursery after for the week’s Bible lesson!
