Heart Connection is the senior ministry at Asbury, serving singles and couples, 60 and better. Everyone is invited to participate in activities and programs, and to join our community of people seeking Christ and growing together in faith, service, and friendship. On Monday, May 13 at noon, meet Julie Houp, UAB Associate Director of the Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Lab. Julie will share how the incredible miracle and process of organ transplant saves lives. Meal: Rotel Chicken Spaghetti, green beans, salad, roll, and Four Layer Chocolate Dream Pie.
On Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. in Room 144 we will be preparing items for Oak Mountain Missions (the May Mission of the Month) and packing backpacks for ELI Thrive.
M4A (Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging) is offering three, free workshops on a variety of topics in 2024. The next session is Brain Health on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in Room 144 from 10-11:30 a.m. Workshops are open to the community – no registration required.

Pickleball is ping pong and tennis combined. Open play: Mondays 2:00 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. Thursdays 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Fridays 2:00 – 6:30 p.m.
Learn how to listen to your body, stretch, meditate, and exercise through the art of yoga. Drop in Mondays from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. in the space outside the sanctuary. Bring your own mat. The class is $5 per session.
