Oak Mountain Missions Ministries in Pelham demonstrates Christ’s love by providing food, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance to those in need in Shelby County and the Greater Birmingham Area. Everything in their warehouse belongs to God and is given to screened, qualified clients free of charge. Asbury has partnered with and supported Oak Mountain Missions for more than a decade.
The May Mission of the Month supports Oak Mountain Missions. While we previously had several serve days on our calendar, current administration tells us a donation drive is what OMM prefers at this time. Here’s what we’re collecting – please bring donations to the “donation corner” in the Adult Ministry Wing:
- New or gently used tennis shoes (men, women and children – all sizes)
- New or gently used kids clothes, size 3 and up
- Peanut butter and jelly
