More than a consignment sale.

While Giggles & Grace may look like your typical consignment sale (with clothes, toys, furniture, and decor) it’s much more than that. It’s also a huge, biannual mission outreach for Asbury and the communities we serve. 

In August 2025:
– Total sales exceeded $188,000. After the consigners are paid, ten percent is tithed back to Asbury, twenty percent is allocated for missions for the next sale, and the remainder is specifically given to Asbury’s children and youth ministries.
– 110+ forty-gallon bags of unsold items were donated to community charities around the Greater Birmingham Area: America’s Thrift supporting Make a Wish Alabama, Garrett’s Place, Grace Klein Community, Oak Mountain Missions, Sozo Children, and Trinity UMC Foster Closet.
– 115 local families in need received coupons to shop the sale.

Giggles & Grace also serves as a food drive to help stock Asbury’s Food Pantry. Canned food/non-perishable items can be donated during the sale. Bring 25 non-expired, non-perishable food items to the sale and show them to the volunteer at the door to get your Express Lane pass. When you’re ready to check out, go to the NEW Express Lane to the right of the check-out door (do NOT go to the regular check-out line).

You can also earn a “shop early on Thursday” pass by volunteering at the sale OR donating $25 to cover volunteer snacks and refreshments.

This sale occurs twice a year in February and August. The next sale is Friday, February 27 (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) & Saturday, February 28 (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
