United Methodist Women

Esther, Martha & Naomi Circles

Who are the United Methodist Women?

The United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Asbury has three UMW circles: Esther, Naomi, and Martha.

This circle meets every third Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Room 120/121. Email circle leader Karen Harrison.

This circle meets every first Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Room 132/134. Email circle leaders Linda McClellan or Glenda Rogers.

Martha Circle, a United Methodist Women's Circle

This circle meets every second Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 132/134. Email circle leader June Griffin.

All three United Methodist Women circles meet for hands-on mission work at 10:00 a.m. in Room 120/121 on the second Monday of every month.

All three United Methodist Women Circles visited Urban Ministry on July 10, 2023. They met with the apprentices who tend the WE Garden, enjoyed lunch at WE Cafe, and toured the WE Learn space, an after-school program that plans to reopen this fall! The UMW’s next missions project will be sponsoring the WE Learn library and creating pillows for the kids!
