Utility Bill Assistance

Help during the tough times.

Thanks to generous giving on behalf of its members, Asbury is equipped to offer once-in-a-lifetime utility bill assistance to Shelby County Residents ONLY. We do not assist with rent. All assistance applications must be completed online. Asbury’s volunteer committee, Faith in Action, will contact you directly within 24 hours after you submit an application. Asbury’s office staff does not have details about application status or payments.

If you are a resident of Jefferson or a surrounding county, please contact The United Way by calling 2-1-1. Calling 2-1-1 will get you a trained resource and referral specialist, who will know what services are available in your area.

Groceries from Asbury’s Food Pantry are available to anyone in need (regardless of where you live). Asbury’s Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 2-3:30 p.m. and curbside pickup is available the first Saturday of each month from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
