Spend 10 minutes in the Asbury Food Pantry and you’ll feel God’s presence. Whether it’s food, clothing, or information about medical assistance, employment, transportation, or counseling, the volunteers at Asbury’s Food Pantry help in every way they can. “It’s not just about giving…it’s easy to give someone a can of peas,” says Food Pantry Director Irene O’Neill. “It’s the relationships you build that are most important.”
The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 2-3:30 p.m. Please bring a copy of your photo I.D. Returning customers are welcome but must wait two weeks before a return visit.
Asbury’s Food Pantry is entirely self-sufficient, relying on donations from church members and funding from Asbury’s Missions in Action program. If you would like to make a donation, food pantry items (non-perishables) can be dropped off outside the pantry doors from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, or brought on Sunday mornings.
