We’re looking for volunteers to spend a few hours serving in Asbury’s Food Pantry each month. It’s more than handing out groceries—it’s building relationships and reminding our neighbors they’re not alone. For details about volunteering, email Missions Coordinator Brooke Wolde and sign up for a shift below.
Introducing Asbury’s Sharing Table: a cool, air-conditioned space for our food pantry guests to fellowship, enjoy refreshments, and get clothing, household essentials, and more free of charge.
The Food Pantry and Sharing Table is open every Wednesday from 2-3:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. to anyone facing food insecurity. Asbury is located at 6690 Cahaba Valley Road Birmingham, AL 35242.
To receive goods, please bring a copy of your photo I.D. And, if you need to visit again, you may do so – just wait two weeks before a return visit.

Since Asbury is a nonprofit organization, we can purchase food in bulk, tax free. The most effective way to help is to make a donation.
FOOD DONATIONS: We also welcome nonperishable food donations like peanut butter and jelly, pasta, canned meats, and hearty soups. Please, no expired items. Plastic containers (not glass) are preferred.
SHARING TABLE DONATIONS: We welcome gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing/accessories; toys; household goods; decor; books; and clean bedding. We do accept furniture but cannot pick it up. Please, no dirty or broken items.
Donations can be dropped off at the Donation Corner in our Adult Ministry Wing on Sundays or brought to the church office 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
