Milestone 2: Entering Kindergarten

Starting Kindergarten is a fun and exciting time in a family. It is the beginning of a child’s school career and a great time to start new traditions to help children excel academically and spiritually. The Kindergarten Milestone is designed to help set the pace for your family during the school age years.

How Children Are Celebrated:

The Kindergarten Milestone, “Blessing of the Backpacks,” is designed to help set the pace for your family during the school age years. Our pastors and congregation pray over our students and each child receives a special backpack tag reminding them of God’s love and their church family’s love.

How Parents Are Supported: 

Parents are invited to a Milestone seminar during the Sunday school hour in the Foust Family Life Center (Gym). Additionally, you can find terrific developmental resources below.
