Oak Mountain Missions Ministries in Pelham demonstrates Christ’s love by providing food, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance to those in need in Shelby County and the Greater Birmingham Area. Everything in their warehouse belongs to God and is given to screened, qualified clients free of charge. Asbury has partnered with and supported Oak Mountain Missions for more than a decade.
OMM is the May Mission of the Month and we’re collecting new and gently used kids and adult clothing, tennis shoes, as well as food and hygiene items . Please bring items to the “Donation Corner” located downstairs in the Adult Ministry Wing.
Current Urgent Needs:
• Kids clothes size 3 and up
• Food items (peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, soups, boxed mac and cheese, canned fruits, etc.)
• Tennis shoes in all sizes
All previously scheduled serve days at Oak Mountain Missions are canceled due to OMM staff transitions. Our Senior Serve Day will take place at Asbury in Room 144 at 10:30 a.m. Please look out for an opportunity to serve at OMM at our Asbury Serves Day on October 5.
