Asbury’s Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 2-3:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. to anyone facing food insecurity. The pantry will only be closed twice this year – on Saturday, July 5 and  the day before Thanksgiving. It also may close due to inclement weather.
To receive groceries, please bring a copy of your photo I.D. And, if you need to visit again, you may do so – just wait two weeks before a return visit.

"It’s not just about groceries...it’s easy to give someone a can of peas. It’s the relationships we build that are most important."

Meet Food Pantry Director Irene O’Neill in this Asbury B’ham Serve Podcast!
Asbury’s Food Pantry opened during the summer of 2011 with limited food choices and pre-packed bags. Today clients receive 25+ items from a wide variety of choices and get to do their own shopping.
Asbury’s Food Pantry is solely operated through generous monetary donations and funds allocated by the Missions in Action program. Food donations are also provided by Asbury members and different community groups that have food drives. If you would like to make a donation, food pantry items (non-perishables) can be dropped off outside the pantry doors from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, or brought on Sunday mornings.
Interested in volunteering in the pantry? Just come on. 🙂
